Lara’s lifelong fascination with the human body and its movement set her on a career path dedicated to helping others move and function at their fullest potential. Lara’s curiosity about body movement piqued her interest in pursuing her physical therapy degree. Holding a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Colorado and a degree in exercise physiology from Texas A&M University, Lara brings more than 12 years of health care experience to the practice. She is a Polestar-certified Pilates instructor and a NCSA-certified strength and conditioning specialist.
Lara blends the practice of physical therapy with her extensive background in Pilates. This combined knowledge enables her to identify, correct, and communicate the why behind a client’s faulty movements. She enjoys helping clients enhance their strength, flexibility, and core stability. With her depth and breadth of health care experience, Lara is well equipped to address impairments that cause pain and to help her patients move well.
When Lara is not motivating—and moving alongside—her clients, she loves to indulge in just about any activity that involves movement. Some of her favorites involve outside activities such as mountain biking and trail running.
