Stephanie Coleman

Physical Therapist

Stephanie has had a lifelong interest in health care; as a physical therapist, she enjoys the hands-on, one-on-one interaction of helping people reach their physical goals. Whether a patient is seeking to return to playing a sport or trying to resume a normal way of life, Stephanie is particularly interested in helping patients regain lost function.

Stephanie has in-depth experience working with the fitness and rehabilitation populations, focusing on postural re-education and functional therapeutic exercises. She believes that the two most important aspects of physical therapy are to treat the patient as a whole-not just one dysfunctional body part-and to truly empower the patient with the tools to maintain gains and prevent further problems.

Stephanie is unique in that she has expertise in both physical therapy and Pilates. She specializes in Pilates instruction, adolescent athletes, sacroiliac dysfunction, and pre- and post-natal care. Stephanie also conducts educational community seminars, with a focus on lower back pain and osteoarthritis.

Stephanie completed her Master's degree in Health Sciences and Physical Therapy at George Washington University in Washington, DC. She has extensive experience as a physical therapist and has served as the Clinical Director of a physical therapy clinic.
