Scott Epsley

Business Development Manager

As a sports physical therapist with more than 10 years of experience, Scott specializes in diagnosis, performance enhancement and rehabilitation of recreational, collegiate, and professional athletes in disciplines such as dance, rugby, basketball, tennis, field hockey, soccer, and golf. Scott has been responsible for some of Australia's top athletes, including gold medal-winning Olympians, professional cyclists, elite sprinters, and PGA Tour golfers.

For six years, Scott owned and managed a physical therapy practice in Australia that focused on providing high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services. Scott’s keen interest in evidence-based medicine prompted him to research the cause and management of Medial Tibial Stress Syndrome (shin splints) and present at a number of Australian Sports Medicine and Sports Physiotherapy conferences. He has also embarked on joint research with the University of Southern Queensland Sports Psychology department.

Scott’s commitment to further education extends to teaching others and, as Senior Lecturer at the University of Queensland, School of Medicine, he has guided medical students in musculoskeletal examination.

Scott earned his degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Queensland and obtained a post graduate certificate in Sports Physiotherapy from LaTrobe University in Melbourne. He is certified in Pilates and is experienced in the use of Real Time Ultrasound Imaging, a real-time tool for assessing and treating core muscle weakness.
