Your Insurance

Medical insurance generally covers physical and occupational therapy; however, because each insurance plan is different, you should check with your insurance carrier to determine your level of coverage. Or, if you prefer, you can contact us at 202-463-7611 and our staff will be glad to assist you in determining your benefits.

Billing and insurance claims

Filing of primary insurance claims is a courtesy that we extend to our patients. SSPT will submit claims, on your behalf, directly to your insurer (third party payer) whenever possible. All charges, however, remain your responsibility from the date services are rendered and it is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance company properly processes your claims.

As we are not participating providers with your insurance plan, our relationship is with you, not your insurance company. Patients are responsible for the payment of charges not covered by their health benefit plan at the time of service.
