Making a referral
SSPT is here to help you meet the needs of your patients. As you know, the District of Columbia requires that a patient obtain a written prescription or referral from a licensed physician, osteopath, dentist, or podiatrist in order to begin any type of physical or occupational therapy. We appreciate your assistance in providing your patients with referrals to SSPT so they may receive exceptional care.

When you refer your patients to SSPT, you can rest assured that they will be getting the most advanced physical and occupational therapy available. We value interdisciplinary teamwork; we will work with you to provide your patient with the best possible care and we will stay in regular contact with you regarding your patient’s progress.
