Cycling is a repetitive activity that places tremendous demand on the body. Poor conditioning, technique, training errors, and the smallest misalignment—whether anatomic or equipment-related—can lead to dysfunction, impaired performance, and injury.
The key to a proper bike fit lies in finding one’s optimal cycling posture and position. Fitting a bike so that it is comfortable, reduces the risk of injury, and maximizes factors such as efficiency, power, and aerodynamics can be a real challenge.
Numerous bike fit programs are available; however, few consider the cyclist’s individual needs. Because each person’s optimal riding position and bike specification are unique, it takes interaction between the cyclist and a trained professional to find the optimal bike fit. Furthermore, how you sit in the saddle when cycling under load is very different from how you sit when stationary, so a true bike fit must be dynamic and should be assessed in “real time” while you cycle.

SSPT offers a unique dynamic bike fit that addresses all aspects of the bike fit in a five-step process:
Bike fitting should be an ongoing process because, as you train, your body will adapt and you may find that your “perfect position” changes from year to year.
