Hand Therapy

Hand therapy merges occupational therapy and physical therapy theory and practice, combining comprehensive knowledge of the upper quarter (that is, the hands, wrists, elbows, and shoulders), body function, and activity. At SSPT, our hand therapist uses specialized assessment and treatment skills to help prevent dysfunction, restore function, or reverse the progression of a disorder.

SSPT’s hand therapists are experienced in providing specific rehabilitation programs for post- surgical, pre-surgical, acute injury, and chronic injuries as well as for injury prevention. We work closely with your physician to treat your condition and maximize your outcome.
